Fort Bend Youth Debate
Free, tournament-level Speech & Debate coaching for middle school students across Fort Bend County — run entirely by high school volunteers.
Our Mission
Fort Bend Youth Debate (FBYD) is a student-led organization dedicated to making tournament-level Speech and Debate coaching accessible to middle school students — at no cost. We believe every student deserves the opportunity to compete, regardless of background.
Our high school volunteers offer mentorship and curriculum across four competitive formats, partnering directly with local middle schools to increase accessibility and create meaningful practice opportunities.
Not affiliated with Fort Bend Independent School District.
